LancerFlow desktop barEarly access · Windows

Tick off tasks without leaving your work.

Press one shortcut in any program, type what you finished, and LancerFlow takes care of the rest. Two seconds, no browser tab, and nothing changes until you say so.

Version 0.1.1 · 1.4 MB · Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit

  • You confirm every change
  • Token kept in the Windows keychain
  • Never touches money
  • Remove access any time
How it works

Three steps, once.

1

Make a token

In LancerFlow open Settings, find Desktop and bots and press Make a token. Copy it: it is shown only once. It works like a key that fits the desktop bar and nothing else.

2

Install and connect

Run the installer, press Ctrl+Shift+K, paste the token and press Connect. You only do this once on each computer.

3

Type, check, confirm

Type what you did and press Enter. Check the card, then press Enter again. A small Undo button stays in the corner for 5 seconds.

What it does

  • Shows your open tasks, the ones in progress first
  • Narrows the list as you type
  • Understands plain sentences, such as “done navbar for ABC”
  • Marks a task done, or starts its timer
  • Lets you undo a change for 5 seconds

What it never does

  • Change prices, invoices or payments
  • Write to or email your clients
  • Read your notes, contacts or money figures
  • Change anything before you confirm
  • Do anything on its own: it only acts when you press the keys
Built to be trusted

An app that asks for very little.

A program that sits on your computer should earn its place. Here is exactly what this one can and cannot do, in plain words.

Your token stays on your computer

It is kept in the Windows Credential Manager, locked to your LancerFlow address. It is never saved in a plain file, and the bar's window never sees it.

It can only do three things

The token can list your open tasks, understand a sentence, and mark a task done or start it. It cannot reach invoices, payments, clients or settings.

Encrypted connection only

The app talks to LancerFlow over https and refuses plain http, except to your own computer for testing. It never follows a redirect with your token.

You hold the off switch

Remove the token in Settings and the app stops working at once. Lost a laptop? Remove its token. Uninstall it like any other app.

Plain about the AI

Your words are matched against your own tasks first, with no AI. Only if you turned the AI assistant on and the words are unclear is your sentence read by it, along with your task, project and client names.

Check your download

Every file has a fingerprint, called a SHA-256 checksum. If the fingerprint of your download matches the one here, the file is exactly the one we published, and nothing changed on the way.

Checksum of LancerFlow_0.1.1_x64-setup.exe

af3e25a8888d87b1f08abd2937f8993207c0d88c37480f2c7cf03b33c11e0c37

To check your copy, open PowerShell in the folder where you saved the file and run

Get-FileHash ".\LancerFlow_0.1.1_x64-setup.exe" -Algorithm SHA256

The long line it prints must match the checksum above, letter for letter. If it does not, delete the file and download it again.

If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”

This installer is not code-signed yet. Signing needs a paid certificate, which we plan to add. Until then, Windows shows this notice for any new program from a small publisher. It does not mean something is wrong. Once the checksum above matches:

  1. 1Click “More info” in the blue window.
  2. 2Click “Run anyway”.
  3. 3Follow the installer. It installs for you only and never asks for an administrator password.

Signing will remove the notice. It will not change what the app does.

Questions

Is it free?

Downloading is free. It works with your LancerFlow account, including the 14-day free trial.

Does it run all the time?

It waits quietly in the tray, the icons near the clock, and opens when you press the shortcut. You can have it start with Windows. That is off until you switch it on in the bar's Settings.

What if another program already uses Ctrl+Shift+K?

Open the bar's Settings and choose other keys. It tells you if the keys you pick are already taken.

What if I lose my laptop?

Open LancerFlow, go to Settings, and remove that computer's token. The app on the lost laptop stops working straight away.

Will it change my invoices or payments?

No. It can only mark tasks done or start their timers. A sentence about invoices or payments is refused.

Is there a Mac or phone version?

Not yet. The Mac version is next. On your phone, you can already update tasks through the LancerFlow Telegram bot, which you connect in Settings.
