Your tasks and timer, beside any page.
Open a panel next to the page you are working on. Start the timer, tick off a task, log a call or save a note about a client without switching tabs.
Needs Chrome 116 or newer and a LancerFlow account. Free to add.
Three steps, once.
Make a token
In LancerFlow open Settings, find Desktop and bots and press Make a token. Copy it: it is shown only once. It works like a key that fits the extension and nothing else.
Add the extension
Add LancerFlow from the Chrome Web Store, pin its icon, and click it. The panel opens beside the page you are on.
Paste and connect
Press Connect and paste the token. Chrome asks once to let the panel talk to LancerFlow. You only do this once in each browser.
What it does
- Shows today's tasks, the ones in progress first
- Starts, pauses, resumes and stops your timer
- Searches your clients, projects and tasks
- Adds a task, a note, a call log or time you forgot to track
- Saves the page you are on as a note, only when you press the button
- Lists follow-ups that are due and shows a client's contact card
What it never does
- Change prices, invoices or payments
- Write to or email your clients
- Read the pages you visit, your history or your other tabs
- Send anything anywhere except to your own LancerFlow address
- Show or change money, unless you allowed reading money totals when you made the token
An extension that asks for very little.
Your token stays in your browser
It is kept in Chrome's own extension storage on your computer and sent only to LancerFlow, over https.
It can reach one address
Chrome asks you once to allow your LancerFlow address. The extension has no access to any other website.
No tracking, no ads
There are no analytics, no advertising and no selling of data. The privacy policy has a section on the extension.
You hold the off switch
Remove the token in Settings and the panel stops working at once. Or press Disconnect in the panel, or remove the extension.
Questions
Is it free?
Adding the extension is free. It works with your LancerFlow account, including the 14-day free trial. When a trial ends your data stays visible but read-only.
Why does it ask for permissions?
To keep your token and settings (storage), to show the side panel, to send the optional daily reminder (alarms and notifications), and to talk to your LancerFlow address. It asks to see your current tab's title and address only the first time you press Save this page.
Does it read the websites I visit?
No. It reads the title and address of the current tab only when you press Save this page, and it never reads what is on a page.
Does it work in other browsers?
It is built for Chrome 116 or newer. Other browsers based on Chrome, such as Edge and Brave, can usually add it from the Chrome Web Store too.
What if I lose my laptop?
Open LancerFlow, go to Settings, and remove that browser's token. The panel stops working straight away.
